「UIA-霍普杯国际大学生建筑设计竞赛」始于2012年，由国际建筑师协会（UIA）任国际主办，天津大学建筑学院、《城市环境设计》（UED）杂志社任主办单位，是由霍普股份独家赞助的面向国际建筑高校大学生的年度建筑设计竞赛，已成功举办十三届。每届竞赛的评委会主席由一名国际著名建筑大师担任，竞赛评委为来自国内外的著名建筑师及学院院长。相较于建筑教育循序渐进的基础性培养，设计竞赛引导学生以全新的方式进行思考以提高解决问题的综合能力，同时也成为发现建筑精英的推手。
　　“UIA-HYP Cup International Student Competition in Architectural Design”was initiated in 2012.It is internationally sponsoredby International Union of Architects(UIA),organized by the School of Architecture,Tianjin University and Urban EnvironmentDesign(UED)Magazine.Shanghai HYP-ARCH Architectural Design Consultant Co.Ltd.is the ExclusiveNamingSponsor.It is anannual architectural competition which has been successfully held for 13 editions.Each year,the UIA-HYP Cup is chaired by aninternationally renowned architectural master,and the jury panel is selected from among the world's most outstandingarchitects and deans from schools of architecture.To boost the architectural education which mainly focuses on basic skilltraining in its conventional and progressive system,UIA-HYP Cup International Student Competition takes the role as anexternal platform for student to embrace a brand-new thinking approach in order to improve their comprehensive problemsolving skill,meanwhile it is alsosome kind of headhunter for discovering emerging elite architects.

　　本次评审分为「线上预审」与「现场终审」两个部分。现在线上预审已完成，收到出席终审通知的选手即视为“入围”选手。
　　终审设有现场汇报环节。请各位入围选手提前做好汇报文件等相关准备工作。
　　现场终审后即举办颁奖典礼。终审结束后，即刻公布一二三等奖名单，开始颁奖典礼。

　　Final Judging and Award Ceremony
　　The judging is divided into two parts:“Online Preliminary Judging”and“On-site Final Judging”.Now that the online pre-screening has been completed,contestants who have received the notification to attend the final screening will be considered as“finalists”.
　　There will be an on-site presentation at the final audition.All finalists are requested to prepare their presentation documents and other related work in advance.
　　An awards ceremony will be held immediately after the on-site final judging.The first,second and third prizes will be announced immediately after the final judging and the award ceremony will begin.
